Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all products and services operated by Spectatr across all subdomains and platforms under spectatr.ai. Each product may have specific refund terms as described below.

1. General Principles
All purchases made through Spectatr products are for digital services and software access. Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis subject to the terms below.
- Refunds, where applicable, will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.
- Payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund amount.
- Refund eligibility is determined from the date of purchase, not the date of request.
- Requesting a refund does not automatically guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed individually.
2. Product-Specific Refund Terms
Each Spectatr product may have specific refund terms. The table below outlines the refund policy for each product. Refund terms for one product do not apply to any other product.
Spectatr Studio (studio.spectatr.ai)
Type: Credit-based SaaS
- Unused credit packs purchased within 7 days may be refunded if zero credits have been consumed.
- Partially consumed packs are non-refundable.
MediaMind (mediamind.spectatr.ai)
Type: Subscription SaaS
- Full refund available within 7 days of initial subscription purchase if the service has not been materially used.
- Renewal charges are non-refundable.
Other Spectatr Products
Refund terms for new products will be listed here upon launch. In the absence of specific terms, the General Principles above apply.
3. What Is NOT Refundable
- Consumed credits or usage — Credits, API calls, processing minutes, or any unit of service that has been consumed cannot be refunded.
- Subscription renewals — Recurring charges for active subscriptions are non-refundable. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid future charges.
- Promotional or discounted purchases — Credits or subscriptions obtained through promotional pricing, coupons, or special offers are non-refundable.
- Account violations — No refund will be issued if your account was suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
- Chargebacks filed in bad faith — If you initiate a chargeback/dispute with your bank while a legitimate refund request is being processed, we reserve the right to deny the refund and suspend your account.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email contact@spectatr.ai with the following information:
- Your registered email address
- Product name and purchase date
- Reason for refund request
- Transaction ID or receipt (if available)
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to your original payment method.
5. Credit-Based Products (Spectatr Studio)
Spectatr Studio uses a prepaid credit system. Credits are deducted when you use features such as uploads, exports, AI processing, and publishing.
- Unused credit packs: Refundable within 7 days of purchase if zero credits from that pack have been consumed.
- Partially used packs: Non-refundable. Once any credit from a pack is consumed, the entire pack is considered used.
- Failed processing: If a service fails due to a system error on our end (e.g., failed video processing, failed export), the credits consumed will be automatically refunded to your account balance — not as a cash refund.
- Free credits: Promotional or bonus credits have no cash value and are non-refundable.
6. Subscription Products
For subscription-based Spectatr products:
- Initial purchase: Full refund available within 7 days if the service has not been materially used (defined as: no media uploaded, no reports generated, no core features accessed beyond the onboarding flow).
- Renewals: Non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Downgrades: If you downgrade mid-cycle, you retain access to the higher tier until the current period ends. No prorated refund is issued for downgrades.
- Annual plans: Refundable within 14 days of initial purchase under the same “not materially used” condition. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision:
- Reply to the refund decision email with additional context.
- A senior team member will review your case within 5 business days.
- The second review decision is final.
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks incur fees that are passed through to us, and we are happy to resolve issues directly.
8. Modifications
We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. The refund terms applicable to your purchase are those in effect at the time of your transaction — policy changes are not applied retroactively.
